This is a very active track, one of the fastest growing in the country, with racing most Sundays from mid-May to early October. Click here for a map of how to get to the track.
The track is 4/10 mile long, complete with straightaways, left and right hand 90 degree turns and a hairpin. There are classes for all ages, depending on what type of race engine you choose. At Cherry Valley we race on an SL compound tire which is harder than the sticky tires, therefore they last longer. Depending on class and tires used, you could expect to use 1 to 4 sets of tires per year. Under normal racing conditions, the weekly maintenance costs are low, and many people learn how to make their own repairs.
Safety is #1. All karts are inspected each race day to make sure they are race ready. In addition, all drivers are required to wear full face helmets with the latest safety rating, protective clothing, gloves, high-top shoes, and neck collar.
We race almost every Sunday and admission is free to the the grandstands. Gates open at 9:30am and racing starts at 11:45am. Food and beverage are available at the track.
Come on out and spend some time with us. We're always happy to answer your questions and tell you why we like karting. We think you'll like it, too!
